The method

Custom software you buy like a product.

Buying custom software should never be a gamble. You see the exact scope and the fixed price, before the first euro.

See the 7 steps

The 7 steps

From your idea to your solution, in seven moves.

No jargon. No leap of faith. Every step is visible, and nothing moves forward without your agreement.

  1. Describe

A guided conversation turns your need into a structured Project Brief, in plain language, no form, no blank page.

  2. Specify

The brief becomes a specification, co-written and agreed line by line: the precise list of what your solution will do. At this stage klair also acts as an adviser on scoping: we don't just transcribe your need, we question and validate the process itself with you, before freezing it.

  3. Sign

The contract is the signed specification, word for word. One fixed price, split into milestones. No hourly rates, no overruns.

  4. Start

You pay the first milestone and the workshop begins. Never ahead of work that hasn't started.

  5. Follow

A dashboard tracks progress continuously. Every milestone: done, in progress, next. Nothing goes dark.

  6. Accept

You try the finished solution and validate it against the signed specification, before committing any further.

  7. Choose what's next

Full autonomy or ongoing support: at acceptance, you decide how your solution lives on.

The workshop

The workshop that never closes.

Two human moments are enough. Everything in between is the workshop, building while your teams sleep.

  1. Tue 2:00 pm

    You sign

You validate the specification and release the first milestone.

  2. Overnight

    The workshop builds

No downtime, no status meeting: the work moves forward continuously.

  3. Wed 9:14 am

The work is waiting for you

By morning, the progress is visible on your dashboard.

No “ship it without me” mode, ever. You define what to build; you approve what is delivered.

The guarantees

Five commitments that take the risk out.

What makes custom software frightening is the gap between what you asked for and what gets built. Here is how we close it.

  • The contract restates the specification word for word

The specification you agreed becomes the contract you sign, with no rewrite. What you approve is exactly what gets built.

  • Payment always trails delivery

You pay one milestone at a time, and every payment follows the delivered work. You never pay ahead.

  • Any change = a priced, signed amendment

No surprise invoice. The signed specification decides what is free and what is billed; every change is priced and signed before any work starts.

  • 90-day conformity guarantee

For ninety days after acceptance, any non-conformity with the signed specification reported in writing is fixed free of charge.

  • The code is yours

In the end, the code belongs to you. No lock-in: run it yourself or hand it to us.

The economics

One fixed price. Milestones. Nothing upfront.

No hourly rate, no overrun. The price is set once, on the agreed specification.

  1. A fixed price, at the specification

The amount is set a single time, on the scope you validated.

  2. Paid by milestones

The price is split into milestones; you pay one at a time, in order.

  3. Never ahead of the work

Each payment follows the delivery of its milestone. You never pay for work that hasn't started.

Then, at acceptance, you choose how your solution lives on.

The two endings

Two possible endings. No lock-in, either way.

At acceptance, the solution is yours. All that's left is deciding who runs it.

Autonomy: you host

Take the code and run it yourself.

  • Source code handed over, ownership transferred.
  • A complete handover pack: architecture, deploy guide, inventory of services and third parties.
  • 90-day conformity guarantee.
  • Nothing held back.

Support: we host

klair hosts, monitors and maintains it, for a fixed monthly fee.

  • Hosting, monitoring and maintenance included.
  • Bug fixes always free.
  • Two minor changes per month.
  • No commitment: monthly, cancellable on one month's notice.

You can leave the subscription at any time and walk away with everything: the code, the handover pack, your resources. No lock-in, either way.

It's simple. It's Klair

One conversation is enough to map where you're blocked. No waiting list, no “we'll get back to you.”

AI accelerates. Software structures. Humans decide.
